Wass: "The positive thing is that we came back from 0-2 down"
Daniel Wass was on target from the penalty spot in Valencia CF's game against Real Sociedad, kickstarting a comeback for the team at Mestalla.
The Dane chatted with VCF Media after the final whistle to give his reaction to the Matchday 30 contest.
"The positive thing is that we made it 2-2. Afterwards we played the last 20 minutes with ten men, which made things more difficult. The positive thing is that we came back from 0-2 down to take a 2-2 draw," he said.
It was after a previous penalty was taken by Carlos Soler that Wass assumed the responsibility for the second, converting well for his latest goal this season.
"Normally Soler takes the penalties, and he does very well from them. He missed one today, and I had the confidence to take the next one," commented Wass, who is also positive about the upcoming run of fixtures.
"We’ve got 8 great games and many points still to play for. I hope that we can pick up a lot of points."
